Our funding partners invest through us or our approved local out-grower schemes to help achieve their development impact and investment objectives; while our co-investment partners invest alongside us directly into high potential opportunities.
As a specialist investor in African agriculture which aims to develop the next generation of agribusinesses by providing crucial financial support small to medium enterprises (SMEs) in Africa.
We focus on smaller investments, ranging from $1 million to $3 million, targeting the “missing middle” — a segment often overlooked by private investors due to perceived risks and high transaction costs.
The venture hopes to create more jobs, increase Small Holder Farmer’s incomes, and build climate resilience throughout the continent by providing capital to these early-stage agribusinesses.
Our portfolio is expected to feature a high percentage of African and female-owned businesses, underscoring its commitment to inclusivity and gender equality.
Mobility Africa Agro was born out of the Passion and Need to Empower and Transform Emerging African Farmers to successful commercial farmers.
